Vision 2020
My church Answer this question:
If you could help the most desperate, hurting people on this earth, would you do it?
(Your money is not the answer)
I believe if we will ask God to eradicate starvation and bring the gospel to those starving in Africa it will be done. If every Christian, when we sit down to eat a meal, will ask God to do this, it will be done. My prayer for 2019 and 20 is to ask the Lord to eradicate starvation in all of Africa. We have not because we ask not, and when we ask, we ask amiss. I believe this is on God’s heart and if we pray we can hit the target.
The 2020 vision - to eradicate starvation in all of Africa is mission possible.
The Lord has shown us, it is possible. Based on current World Hunger Organization statistics - one Jesus food packing line working 4 hours a day can eradicate starvation in all of Africa. So, physically, we know it's possible. However, the Lord showed me very clearly that we will wear ourselves out if we try to do it in our own strength.
Ephesians 6:12 tells us very plainly where to put our energy.
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” NIV
The Lord has given us the weapons - 2 Corinthians 10: 4-6
"The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds and demolish arguments and every pretense that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, taking captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ" NIV
As I have been asking the Lord for wisdom and discernment in how to go about this he has shown me that yes, physically it is possible now and I believe he is showing me the keys for victory in vision 2020. This is the ongoing and growing revelation of the vision God gave me in Tanzania in 2017. Please join me in prayer for this victory in Jesus name.
Your brother in Christ Dick Hochreiter.
Please let us know if you are joining us in prayer and share this with your family, friends and church.
